    Up Coming Event
The 23rd and 24th of May will see our wonderful Sangluna (AKA Amy Learoyd) trading in the dealers Den at Confuzzled in Manchester. I won't be trading there myself but Sangluna will have a selection of my prints and T-shirts with her. I will be passing by on Friday afternoon at some point to drop Amy off but alas I can't stay long as I have to be back in suffolk to work 15 hours on Saturday (I don't even want to think about that), so somebody have a cup of tea ready for me as I pass.
    Enjoy the Anchovy.

It's That Whitby time of year again and of course Amy and I will be up there for the UK's top Goth Festival. With so much shopping to be had up there it's hard to know where to begin but we recommend the Sports centre main hall because that's where we will be. Enjoy The new look Anchovy.

    Winter Sunrise
This weeks State of Anchovy is up. It's one of my Winter Sunrises and you may have already seen it on my DeviantArt gallery. The updating of the website is progressing but mostly behind the scenes at the moment. More obvious changes will be along soonish.

For a Sneak look at what I'm working on behind the scenes take a peek here. Please bare in mind that at time of writing I am still working on this page the file uploaded was the first test and half of it's not there and it needs a center tag adding.

    Winter Sunrise
Over the winter I created several works by painting silhouette landscapes on glass and placing them over a print of a winter sunrise sky I created in pastel. This is the first I did of those.

Meanwhile Amy Learoyd and I will be Exhibiting and selling some of our art work at the 35th East Anglian Art Exhibition at Needham Market from Friday 10th of April (My birthday) to Monday 13th. Enjoy The new look Anchovy.

    Winter Sunrise - Childhood
Over last winter I created several works by painting silhouette landscapes on glass and placing them over a print of a winter sunrise sky I created in pastel. I have now drawn directly on to the original sunrise also in pastel to create the following original piece. I intend to put this work up for sale at the 35th East Anglian Art Exhibition.

    Moonlit Snowscape
    Winter Landscape.
Hi Folks, I hope you all had a merry Christmas and I hope when in gets here next week you will all have an excellent new year. At time of going to press I'm still unsure If I'll be doing the last two Markets at Bury St Edmunds before the New Year Takings wont be a patch on pre-christmas takings and I'm not sure I'll cover my costs so I may just give it a rest until I've got my Leather stock pack up to par. Meanwhile look out for a massive improvement in the website and perhaps State of Anchovy products coming to an alternative store near you.

This weeks piece of art is one I did whilst working on the market. It sold within a week for £20. If you'd like to commission me for a similar night time snowscape piece let me know. Enjoy The Anchovy.

    Do You Believe?
    I Didn't You Exsisted.
For any of you who cam looking for me in Bury this Wednesday May have found i was not there. I do apologies, the alternator's gone on my van so I couldn't get my stall in to town. This said I do hope to be back for Saturday, Sunday and Christmas Eve. For any of you who have come to find me in Haverhill I'm afraid I've given up my spot there for the moment as for the thin business I get there it's just not worth the cost of the pitch. Sorry Haverhill folks but I just can't afford it. Come find me in Bury. Enjoy The Anchovy.

    Reindeer Games.
Christmas Is coming and as our series of Christmas strips role on I'm busy selling some wonderfully arty Christmas presents by both the wonderful Amy Learoyd and my self at our regular spots on the Markets at Haverhill (Fridays) and Bury St Edmunds (Wednesdays and Saturday) Including some pieces not yet available here on the web site so I'm well worth hunting for Indeed some pieces are so fresh I'm finishing them whilst on the stall it's self. One print you can currently get on the stall which is not yet available here on the site is the picture of Vixen from this very strip, but if you email me nicely I may be able to ship one out to you at our normal price. Enjoy The Anchovy.

But you let Vixen Join in your reindeer games and she's not even a reindeer.

    Rudolph and Vixen.
It's been a while I know. Not only have I been working on an image that is taking a hell of a long time but I have also been horrendously busy. All the same things here roll on. since we last spoke the Anchovy stall has called in on Infest, Whitby Goth Weekend, and Last weekend RBW and we've had regular spots on the Markets at Haverhill (Fridays) and Bury St Edmunds (Wednesdays and Saturday). All in all it's been a busy few months, but December is here now so I can break out a whole string of Christmas stuff. We do start our Christmas Rune with something that is definitely not worksafe or suitable for younger viewers. Also Getting it to work on LJ appears to be a bit tricky so you can take a look on the State of Anchovy Page instead.

I'll be adding a list of our journeys out to the rest of the world as soon as I have a spare moment. Meanwhile we will be somewhere on Bury St Edmunds Market on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and a Spot on Haverhill Market on Fridays (Late night special this Friday) all the way to Christmas. Do come and find me if you're in the area. Enjoy The Anchovy.

Bill Oddie: Britain's Tastiest Wildlife Presenter
Bill Oddie: Britain's Tastiest Wildlife Presenter
I would make some sort of suggestion that for the last night of Springwatch they do a montage of all the things that have nibbled Bill Oddie over his years as a wildlife presenter, but since I'm out Thursday nights I'd miss that anyway. All the same I suggest that Bill Oddie be kept well away from Ray Mears in case the Latter gets hungry. Enjoy The Anchovy.

    Dirty Furry
This week our piece of art is a T-shirt design that should be of interest to at least some of the fur scene. I've not got a T-shirt section up and running on the site yet so If you want one please mail me and I'll get one sorted for you. Enjoy The Anchovy.
